Community extends to everything we do at Stoneflower.

Our servers and chefs are amazing humans, and they do their best every day to make sure that each bite is delicious and every minute in our eatery is enjoyable. We source many of our vegetables, eggs, meats, mushrooms, & breads from local vendors, and we showcase those vendors in our awesome market. Buying their products is a great way to get local farm fresh produce any time and it supports them significantly, as they are paid what their products are actually worth. We’re proud to serve NoCo draft beers, ciders, and kombucha, and have invited the amazing artists for Fort Collins to decorate our walls, with rotating shows every two to three months featuring an amazing array of beautiful Northern Colorado artisans.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Stoneflower Market & Eatery.
We are thankful that you are here and hope to have the opportunity to feed and care for you soon.

Be well, awesome human!

Oh Capitan, Our Capitan

Women chefs are a rarity in commercial kitchens, and powerhouses like Chef Brie are even rarer.

We are lucky to have her heading our team at Stoneflower, and we're thrilled to sing her praises. Brie grew up on the central coast of California and moved to Fort Collins as a sophomore. GO LAMBKINS! Cooking has been a lifelong passion for her, and she got her first commercial kitchen job at the age of 15. After high school, she pursued her culinary degree from Johnson & Wales, and spent almost a decade gaining experience in a variety of different kitchens, culminating in her first Executive Chef position at Cafe Vino in 2016.

Brie left Cafe Vino in 2018 to open her own catering business with her partner of 13 years, Chris Carmel. Together they create menus and experiences ranging from small four course dinners in people’s homes to fine dining weddings and backyard pig roasts with their smoker trailer.

Brie & Carmel make everything from scratch, choosing each component of the menu themselves and using seasonal, responsibly sourced and local ingredients whenever possible. In December of 2023, they were voted one of the top three caterers in NoCo by NoCo Style Magazine!

While running your own business is extremely rewarding, it is also nice to work on a team, so when the opportunity to run the team at Stoneflower and work with us presented itself, Brie rearranged her plate and accepted. You can find her in the kitchen Tuesday - Saturday, rocking the slow jams and holding it down for our awesome back of house team. Next time you're in, if your food impresses you, take a minute to go up and say hi. Nothing makes a Chef's day better than a bit of person to person positive feedback.

Also, as an aside, Brie & Carmel still do catering, when they can fit it in, so if they sound amazing (they are) and you need a caterer, reach out to them on Instagram at @brieandcarmel or by email at brieandcarmel@gmail.com.

We're so happy to have you Brie!

Who We Are

Stoneflower Market & Eatery is the third labor of love for Fort Collins restaurateurs Kat Reeves, Ryan Damasky, and Mike Reeves, owners of Bistro Nautile and former owners and Executive Chef of Fish Market & Restaurant.

Conceived at the end of 2023 and created from the ground up in under two months, Stoneflower was created for community.

We watched eight local restaurants and bars shut their doors in the last half of 2023, including the much loved The Fox and the Crow, the cheese shop & bistro whose space we now occupy. In opening Stoneflower we want to create a place where locally focused community members can still gather in midtown to eat, drink, and celebrate each other.

Stoneflower opened quietly on Monday, February 19th, 2022. We are a work in progress, constantly striving to evolve and create a better experience. However, the foundation of our focus remains the same- community.
